JetBlue has a lot going for it. There's plenty of space to stretch out, including complimentary food and Wi-Fi. A simple loyalty program is also available.
The points and miles community seems to pay little attention to JetBlue's TrueBlue program. But it's perfect for the occasional traveler because the points are so simple to accrue and redeem. Most redemptions are only good for flights within the Americas, but that will change when JetBlue begins its transatlantic service to London.

A Brief History of JetBlue
More than a hundred cities throughout the Americas, Latin America, and the Caribbean are accessible with JetBlue. The New York-based carrier, in contrast to most airlines, who have been cutting routes during the coronavirus pandemic, has introduced service in 30 new ways, including considerable expansions from Newark (EWR) and the Florida area. As for future development, the company hopes to add flights from the East Coast to London.
JetBlue is unique among frequent flyer programs because it has only one elite tier. Although it is not part of any alliance, you can earn and redeem points with a select group of airlines.
A newcomer to frequent flyer miles and points, TrueBlue reflects JetBlue's status as one of the United States youngest major airlines. Earning and spending points are tied to the price of tickets because the program is revenue-based. But you may earn JetBlue points in many other ways besides flying.
Partners in the Program
Flying with any of these carriers will allow you to accumulate TrueBlue points, but only flights on Hawaiian will allow you to cash them in for travel rewards. JetBlue has several more travel and non-travel partners where you can earn points in addition to the airlines.

The minimum need to achieve Mosaic is 12,000 base points, which can be earned by flying 30 segments, or 15,000 base points in a calendar year. You'll also qualify if you use your JetBlue credit card to make $50,000 in purchases during a calendar year.
Mosaic members get free changes and cancellations, two free bags, fast-track security, extra points, free drinks, and more.
As a result of the recent coronavirus outbreak, JetBlue has decided to extend all 2019 statuses through at least December 31, 2021. It has lowered the required amounts by half this year as a bonus. You may earn points for a JetBlue award ticket in various ways, including air travel and hotel stays. See below for a comprehensive rundown of JetBlue's several reward programs.
Fly JetBlue and accumulate TrueBlue points
A flight is the most obvious way to rack up JetBlue points. TrueBlue points are awarded in proportion to your ticket price, the type of fare you purchase, and the method of purchase.
You will earn at least three TrueBlue points for every dollar spent on a Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, or Mint fare. You can make three times as many points for every dollar you pay if you book your flight directly with the airline. When booked directly through JetBlue, Blue Basic (basic economy) fares receive 2 points per dollar spent.
You'll be happy to know that you may earn 300 TrueBlue points for every flight you take with your pet.
Midway through July 2020, JetBlue and American Airlines revealed their intention to form codeshare cooperation. This would pave the way for the airlines to offer "loyalty perks" to frequent fliers and the sale of connecting seats on each other's flights. Although it is currently unclear how the partnership would work in practice, one potential outcome is that passengers can earn and redeem miles on flights with any airline. There is a possibility that the frequent flyer programs will become mutual. Spend your time with our partners and earn TrueBlue points
You can rack up TrueBlue points in a variety of non-flight-related methods. Just know that in some cases, such with hotel and auto rental partners, you will have to give up issues with the partner program to gain JetBlue points.
The standard fare for a qualified hotel room at most brands earns you two JetBlue points. At Candlewood and Staybridge Suites, you'll make one TrueBlue point for every dollar you spend on qualifying room rates, and at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, you'll earn 500 points.
